I bought an Alleva-Coppolo KBP-4 that I can't stop playing, so I'm going to let this one go. This bass is made from the finest parts I could find. The body is a CIJ Fender 57 Reissue in fiesta red and it has a 62 Reissue tort guard. The color of this bass is fantastic. Its really a beautiful bass and it has held the place of honor above my mantle since I put it together. The neck is a USA Fender Jazz neck. The pickup is made by Nordstrand and the wiring harness is from Butch over at Bayou Cables. It could use a new tone knob. The one I got from allparts didn't have the threads for the screw cut right. It works as is though. Fit and finish is excellent. Right now its set up with low action and a brand new set of DR Nickel Hi-Beams. Its very light for a Fender. I'm going to guess under 8 pounds.
The bass is close to mint. The only flaw being an extra set of tuning machine holes from the previous owner of the neck. I bought all of the parts brand new, except for the neck which was lightly used. This bass has some serious punch and excellent playablility. If you like P's but love the jazz neck, this is the bass for you.
