***********SOLD****************
I am selling this just because it doesn't get much play with my Lowend LEJ around.

$450 [DEL]plus[/DEL] including shipping CONUS or make me an offer! Now Open To TRADES. I don't really need anything but shoot me what you have. The cash price on this is way low so the trade price is probably closer to the $650 mark.

The serial puts this around 2008 - 2009 and here are the original specs from Fender:
http://www.fender.com/series/classic/70s-jazz-bass-rosewood-fingerboard-3-color-sunburst-3-ply-bwb-pickguard/

I bought it used at GC and the previous owner must have ripped out the original pots and PUs because they were clearly not original... and sounded terrible.
Here is what I did to it:
Put back in the proper 70s Fender reissue PUs
Gotoh Bridge
Chrome Knobs
Bourns Pots - Volume / Blend / Tone
Orange Drop Cap
Labella flats

There are a few minor blemishes which I tried to highlight in the pics... anyone that has bought a bass from me will tell you that I like to show the details.

The only problem is that it has the classic first fret crack in the fingerboard which happens quite often in the 70s basses with the bullet truss. It was probably there when I bought it but it is impossible to see because the A string completely covers it. I superglued in the crack 2 years ago and it hasn't grown at all. The action is medium on it with no buzz but I am hesitant to tighten the bullet any further because of the crack. The neck on these is a bit chunkier which I like. Not quite as chunky as the real 74 that I used to own.
