NEW LOWER PRICES! $500 for the SVT-3 Pro, $300 for the SVT48HE, both paypal-ed and ground shipped/insured to the lower 48!

I had the cab up before (http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=669920 but I kind of restricted my trades too much. I bought the SWR rig I was looking for, so I am pretty well set on amps and cabs now.

So now I really ought to get rid of my made in USA SVT-3 Pro and the SVT48HE. I bought them in a package deal with a fretless Jazz and an SVT18, but in less than a month I had upgraded to a SVT-410HE and a SVT-4 Pro so I could biamp the 4x10 and the 18.

When I bought the SVT-3 Pro I was told it was new-old-stock and would be covered under Ampeg's warranty. The fan was sort of loud (I only play at home) and I thought one of the tubes was a little hissy, so I took it to a local authorized Ampeg service center and they replaced the fan and all 5 tubes under warranty. The new tubes are all Groove Tubes, with less than 2 hours of use on them. I'll include a copy of the receipt to help out with any possible warranty claims, but I'm not guaranteeing Ampeg will cover it again. The 3 is in great shape, just a few scratches on the handles and from the rack mount screws, one scratch on the top.

The SVT-3 and the 48HE make a killer small, full range rig. The slight hi-fi-ness of the 48HE is well tempered by the extra tubi-ness of the 3 Pro. It's pretty transportable, but my Eden WTX-500 and Avatar 112Neo are even easier to carry. I have a V-4B with a SVT-15 for fat round tube sound, the SWR SM-500/Goliath III for SWR sound and the big SVT-4/410HE/18 rig, so I'm pretty well set amp/cab wise and this is just too much overlap. And I don't have any more room!

I'd be interested in trading for a nicer Fender bass, maybe a G&L, maybe a 5 string. Nice effects/pedals/pickups/parts are a possibility, with +/- $ either way. Cash I'm looking for $550 for the 3 Pro and $350 for the 48HE, plus actual shipping, tell me if I'm overestimating their worth.

I purchased the SVT-3 on 7-25-09 from Sound Associates Music in Lawrenceville, GA. Although they are not currently on the Ampeg web site as an authorized dealer, they have some signs up, perhaps they used to be.

The serial number is BDVDOA####, so I believe it was made in 2002. It is made in USA by SLM.
