Dean Sledgehammer 5 in great playing condition. Some minor bumps and marks on the body, but no deep gouges. Hardware and electronics are all stock to the best of my knowledge.
Swamp ash body, maple neck and fingerboard, and a single Music Man-style pickup. 2-band active EQ. Made in Korea.
You can hear a slight scratchiness in the volume knob. Otherwise the electronics work great.
I recently traded for this bass just to try it out. It's really fun to play, and sounds great, particularly for rock. I normally play more acoustic-type music, and need to let this one go to make room for a new fretless.
Price dropped on April 27 to $350 (was $400), including shipping in the continental U.S.
I would consider a trade for the right fretless bass (4- or 5-string) or possibly an older Japanese-made bass with a natural finish.
