I really want a maple on maple for my build but this is a good price.

What year is this? The Precision Bass logo seems to be fairly modern.

I was looking at a BNIB MIA Corona, CA 2009 Jazz at Guitar Center and the finish on the neck was horrid. I was quite disappointed when I seen this.

Can you feel the nicks and dents as you are playing? That annoys me more than a bad setup.

I would seriously PayPal you the money right now but I'm waiting on PayPal so I can confirm my bank account. :/

The nicks you can see in each picture in posting #3 are the most noticeable. The first pic is the same one visible in the first pic of posting #4. It is behind the third fret (or the G in standard tuning). It is the most noticeable for me as my thumb position rides the skunk line. I can feel it, but its not bothersome to me. Its not rough or catching, but you can feel it, and as you can see from the two pictures of it, it is quite shallow. For me it was actually a plus as my hand "knew" when I got to G or C on the next string by feel on the neck. (I have a bit of a tighter grip on the neck than is considered good technique and Im working to correct that at the moment)
the only other one I would be able to feel at all while playing is the light diagonal mark on the stripe in the 2nd pic on posting #3 near the second "A" in Nagato. It is behind the 9th fret. It is less noticeable than the other, but I can feel it. If you absolutely cant stand anything but absolute silkyness on the neck the one on the 3rd fret would annoy you, but as I said its not bothersome to me. I should point out that in the past I have had neck dings on a bass that drove me nuts. This isnt one that bothers me.
Quite objectively I think its in great shape, especially when you consider the price. But I would like you to know exactly what its like and be content with that before you buy. If you were a little closer I would tell you to check it out first or we could meet, but youre about 4.5 hours away....if ya got other questions, let me know.
