This is for a wonderful Japanese made Boutique bass from Tune Bass Maniac. A wonderful sounding and playing bass with ultra low action. The ONLY reason I am parting with the bass is because it's a 5 string, and as with 99% of 5 strings I don't like the neck. If this was a 4 string I would keep her, and as a matter of fact I would do an even trade for the right Japanese Tune 4 string, and would add cash for a tune double coursed 8 string (with no trem bar please.)
These differ in quality from the Korean made Tunes. Some notable differences are brass nut, Japanese made hardware, Japanese pickups, very tight grained ash body (typical of Japanese made instruments.) Condition is a 9. Not quite new or mint but not far off with a few minor blems that are unnoticeable. The only noticeable knock against this bass is the truss rod cover is missing. That is only an aesthetic issue and causes no functional issues.
It's a wonderful bass and there are sadly not many Japanese Tunes in America. I REALLY REALLY want one of their 8 strings.
Update on controls. Pan, Volume, Tone with push/pull pot that changes the frequency. There are also 3 trim pots inside the control cavity
