I recently got this from another TB'er and it is a very clean smokin bass...challenge I have is that it is not the sound that I am used to so here it is...I am looking for 800.00 or will trade for a used Euro 4LX(also known as the Czech NS2)...Here is the original ad where I got it and it includes some awesome pics...the bass has not been out of the house since I got it..It came to me with one ding on the back that is hard to see in the photos but is there...other than that, the bass is uber clean! Currently running EMG DCs and the new adjustable tone pump...

Before you give up on this toss in the USA haz lab 18volt- my USA ns 4 nails the classic ns2 sound but is able to be tweaked to have huge low end ( ala your former favorite Brit bass) and a killer slap tone- my guess is that outfitting your rebop will yield the tones you have in mind- a big part of the classic Spector tone is the haz lab board...dropped one in the white ns2j I had like yours and it sounded 100000% better than with the stock bts guts

This one has the Tone Pump that is adjustable. I am really diggin the sound of the black one you sent me....This does not quite get to that tone...the soapbars are a different tone and I don't really like to mess with 18v. Wish you still had that white one and Brian B did not get it..

Well, since my pictures are up here, I guess I should comment. ;)

I bought this bass as new old stock a few months ago from a music store up north. After that, I upgraded the electronics to active EMG DCs and a TonePump with trim pot. All work was done by a professional tech here in Nashville. Soon after I bought it, I needed to switch up to 5 string for my current gig, so this bass got traded to Jaymi. It's rarely been out of my house, as it was only used for a handful of practices. It's relatively light, and sounds fantastic. This bass definitely has the distinctive Spector growl. If you want that tone and want something a bit unique without having to do the work yourself, this is your bass.
