I'm selling a 2008 (but rarely used) stingray. The previous owner had it from 2008-2012 and said he took it on 3 gigs. Otherwise it stayed in his home. I've used it on a few more gigs since acquiring it. I have cleaned the bass up, done a full setup on it (plays like butter) and have new DR Fat Beams on there. The single coil pickup in the neck position helps make this stringray really versatile. I really just can't justify having the number of basses that I do, for how rarely I gig them.
Bass is in great shape. Back of the neck has been sanded down to make it even faster and smoother (feels amazing!). Frets are in spectacular condition (I thought they must have just been repolished and crowned when I picked up the bass, but bassist I bought it from assured me that he just rarely played it so it was virtually new). I am the second owner, and I know the original owner very well (he's an older professional bass player who is equally careful and meticulous with his gear as I am). I want to be up front and disclose any bumps, nicks, or scratches on the bass, but I really can't find any... I guess there are a couple of nicks on the headstock (barely noticeable though)
