Up for sale or trade is my black cherry Spector Legend 6 string bass. It has seen very little time outside of my apartment. It was a foray into 6 string basses and it was fun for a while, but I am not putting it to good use these days. Hopefully she will find a better home with one of you. As I said, it's seen very little use and therefore looks pretty good cosmetically. There really aren't any significant dings or scratches on it. One of the knobs is slightly loose, but it works perfectly fine. For what it's worth, it was loose from the moment I got it and hasn't been too burdensome. This thing probably stays in tune better than any bass I own, even some more than twice its cost. The action isn't too high and has stayed pretty firm for as long as I've owned it. There have been a few people on here that have commented on the great tone that this bass gets and I would have to agree. As an entry level 6 string, I don't think anyone would be disappointed in the sound. The low B is warm and not muddy. The high C is clear and bright but not shrill. If you are thinking of trying out a 6 string, I think you would be very happy with this bass. These go for $850 new, but I'm asking for ----$550----- plus a matching Spector gig bag! I don't mind shipping this, but buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs. I'm located near Philly for those local shoppers.
