FS:
Spector USA Coda 4 Deluxe in black cherry gloss with beautiful highly figured quilted top. Upgraded with Premium Birdseye Maple fingerboard in matte finish and Abalone Spector Crown Inlays.
These are hard to come across but in my opinion are the best high end Jazz style bass on the market today and the build quality at Spector is second to none. I'm the original owner of this bass and picked it up direct from the Spector shop in NY last July as soon as it was built - neck stamp reads: 6/28/13.
I've used it for a few TV spots and a small handful of shows. Selling to help fund a wedding in April - not looking for trades right now, thanks!
Bass is near mint, I would give it a 9 out of 10 with only a few small imperfections from regular use. This bass plays, looks, and sounds amazing - hurts to part with it!
This is a passive bass but is routed for a preamp and has the battery compartment if you want to go that route.
Pickups: Spector TB-70's custom aggressive 70's style and upgraded to a Badass Bass II Bridge from the shop.
For complete specs see the Spector site below:
http://spectorbass.com/Coda/Coda-4DLX.html
Includes the original Spector hardshell case that has never been used and Dunlop Dual Design strap locks.
Asking $2,200 shipped in the CONUS from Nashville (retail on the bass is $4,500 and street price for the DLX seem to be about $3,500).
Any questions or want to see more pics, just let me know, thanks!
