Black swamp ash body / matching headstock, rosewood fretboard and 3 band eq. I bought this on a whim on 8/28/10 locally here at the Perfect Bass. After buying selling three different Stingrays, a Lakland 4402, a Lakland 4401 and an Alembic Spoiler over the past five years, I have finally come to the realization that active basses are not for me.This is a sweet bass that weighs in a 9lbs on the bathroom scales. It has perfect set up fight out ouf the box. She plays and sounds great. The plastic is still on the pickguard.
