I've been wanting a P Bass for a while and purchased this bass a few days ago on a whim. My preference is generally for rosewood fretboards, but the price was too good to pass up. I strung it up with some DR flats and have played it all of 30 minutes. The bass plays nice, but could benefit from a proper setup as the action is a bit high. Its close to being a keeper for me, but thought I would see if I can trade it for something with a rosewood board before I play it out and it no longer looks so new. As you can see it is still wearing the hangtags, has the plastic on the pickups and pick guard, and it comes with a fender gig bag. Condition is pretty much brand new, but I did find a ding on the edge of the body on the upper side. I have included a picture.
For the right trade I would be willing to purchase a hardshell case to ship it in. I'm also willing to add cash for the right bass. Basses with playing wear ok. As long I'm getting something I would actually use, playing wear does not bother me.
