Well I just picked up this MM Sterling 5 and it is absolutely fantastic in every way... The tone is killer and super fat, it plays perfectly, and the medallion gold finish is my favorite finish on an MM... No doubt the best MM out of the 5 I have owned, but I just am not functioning well on a 5 string anymore! So I'm looking to trade for a 4 STRING ONLY!

The bass is in excellent to near-mint condition, medallion gold with matching headstock, OHSC, really fantastic overall. Here is the original thread I purchased from for photos and details:

Like I said, this bass is a perfect MM if I could get rid of the 5th string, so I don't really want to get rid of it. But I really would be a lot more comfortable on a 4. So I feel like I need to trade it for the sake of my hands, but I'm not in a big hurry, I'd like to find a good trade!

***So I'm looking for a trade, plus $cash$ if I need to, I'm not really looking to trade down at all.
Here are my ONLY interests:
MM Stingray/Sterling CLASSIC model, I'm really only interested in the classic ones.
MM Big Al
MM Reflex
Fender 60's-era Vintage P
Fender 70's-era Jazz bass, vintage/MIA or MIJ. (Geddy's too)
Mike Lull 4's
Sadowsky metro 70's
Nordy 4's
Lakland USA 4's

Thanks!

I have a 2006 LE Sterling 4HH. Black with gold hardware. LE case. I don't want a 5 string, but it may be easier to sell?!?

Thanks for the offer, but im not sure the black/gold thing is really for me. Sounds like a cool bass though, good luck with the sell!
