How does it sound on bass? I mostly want it for a tap tempo switch for bpm and easy echo for church filling. May be over kill for that

Sounds great on bass, you can change the tone of the repeats from clean digital to dark analog-type repeats, whatever fits your needs. You can also program exact BPM into a preset which is a handy feature. I forgot to mention, but I will also include the power supply that came with it.

Are you able to tap the switch and have the LED read the BPM you are tapping? My main reason for this is to be able to adjust my effect times while playing live. Our team can change tempo by a few beats sometimes unfortunately and I wanted to use this also as a metronome to tell them the tempo they are currently playing at practice to record it. If this had a click out jack it would be perfect hAhah something we desperately need.

Yeah! Actually you can set the display to either show milliseconds or BPM and it will show whatever tempo you tap in. I honestly don't know all the functions of this pedal, so you can read about all it can do here: http://cdn-downloads.tcelectronic.com/media/217840/tc_electronic_nd-1_nova_delay_manual_english.pdf
