1505, trans orange ash bodysith binding, maple neck, bought new in 2019 so it has the 10 year warranty yet.
It’s just crazy beautiful and plays and sounds too notch.
Case, candy, paperwork etc included.
Everybody gonna ask “what’s it weigh” Bc G&L ;—) so, 8lbs 14oz on my rapala digital fish scale...
No string thru.
Very light satin ploy finish on the neck.
String spacing is same as all G&L, which I think is 17.5mm? But you should confirm that for yourself as I’m not certain about that.
It has Dunlop bright nickels on it, which I like.
Not interested in trades but thanks.
I really like the bass well enough, but I’m pretty solidly a J5 w single coil guy. it’s nice to have around and it won’t break my heart to keep it if that’s what happens.
Thanks Chef,
You correct that we can find out certain spec.info from G&L although this is the first time I saw one of these, at first I thought it was a "Kiloton" & that's why I tried to find out as much as possible being G&L isn't the easiest to deal with!!
I will be in touch as soon as I sell something!!
Thanks
It preceded the Kiloton, and they do share some traits.
I've owned both, as a science experiment to see which I prefered, I kept the 1505.
In part bc this is a particularly beautiful bass, and in part bc it did sound and function better for me.
I wish it had the single coil option the Kiloton has, but it doesn't...
Interesting,
FWIW I've had basses with that option "Lakie's" etc & always liked the middle position best so if I acquire it, I won't miss it..
Thanks again
