Well, not one of my many Empress G&L’s, but Empress adjacent as I've just ordered an Empress Wunkay from Greg at Rocket Music and this one must go to make room in the music room and budget.
This is a near mint G&L L-1000 from the recent CLF Research series. Please forgive the reflections on the pics below. It's early and the sun is streaming in.
This is a real beauty in Old School Tobacco Sunburst over Okoume with a nicely figured Caribbean rosewood board. It will come to you in a similarly minty G&L gig bag with all paperwork and Allen wrenches with which it came from the factory.
Plays and sound lovely as all these Wunkays do, incredibly versatile from a one pickup bass. Nice weight at 8.5 lbs.
