For sale G&L JB (Jazz Bass). 7.8 lbs

This is a beautiful G&L JB (Jazz Bass) in honeyburst over empress. Perfect weight of 7.8lbs. In my experience, that is as light as you can get a G&L and still have it balance really well. No neck dive. I bought it here on TB and love it. I said I’d only sell it if I was replacing it with a JB5. Well, I have a JB5 on the way so this is up for sale. Very little fret wear but a few visible scars.
-small dent on the front above the pick guard (pictured).
-small scratch in the finish on the back near the neck bolts (pictured)
-a large chip out of the finish on the side near the where an input jack might go. This is not visible from the front of the bass and only slightly from the side as it is facing down. Pictured as well.
All of those blems happened before I got it. It has only left my house a few times. The two volume knobs are also a little scratchy. I haven’t opened it up to clean them as it isn’t that bad but should be done. Plays excellent as you would expect and looks just beautiful. I hate to sell it but fiscal responsible and domestic harmony demand it. Price reflects the damage but this is still a beauty of a bass and plays awesome. Currently strung with DR Sunbeams that have very little use.
