This is a pre-lawsuit (Fender Corp VS Leo Fender) USA G&L L-2000 from the early 1980's.
I've owned it for about 10 years. It's a very nice instrument, and everything works. It's active/passive and will work without a battery. Action is set med-low. Bass weighs 10.2 pounds.

This has been a working bass, some nice checking on the finish, a few nicks, and a little fret wear in the 'money section'... I would say the wear is consistent with a 35+ year old instrument. It was my primary bass for a couple of years, but just isn't getting any gigging time at this point. It's too nice to be sitting in a case. I haven't made any changes other than the additional strap-lock on the lower horn... I use a Slinger Strap system. Comes with a case.
