I purchased this new from an authorized seller in State College, PA in Dec. of 2017. It is near perfect. I'm rather obsessive with my equipment and always keep it in the case when not being played. Balances perfect and is about one of the lightest 5 strings you will find at 7.9lbs. Currently strung with DR Sunbeams. Low action and smooth playing all up and down the neck. This is one of those "I'll never sell this bass" basses. But alas, I prefer the classic P and J. I don't see any blemishes on this bass except for minor swirling on the finish. A couple of light marks on the case as pictured. Includes everything pictured. I've only played it out a handful of times. I took the battery out as soon as I got it as I prefer passive.
All specs are on the build sheet. Two issues keep this from being mint.
1) The A string tuner shaft has a small bend where it holds the clover key making the clover loose. Maybe it can be fixed but likely the tuner just needs to be replaced. I believe this happened in shipping as the tuning key is close to the top of the headstock.
2) There is a small amount of scratchiness in the volume knob when adjusting. Minor and I have not tried to address it.
Trades: I’m looking for a classic sounding P bass with that old school woody tone. It must be less than 9lbs, preferably between 8 and 8.5. Nut width preference of 1 1/2 but 1 5/8” is okay too. 1 3/4 is not okay. I prefer American builds but feel free to hit me up with other stuff.
This bass was for sale in March 2020 (this thread), so the comments might be old. I sold it on Reverb, missed it horribly, and bought it back. I find myself still not really playing it and wanting the classic P bass sound, so up for trade!
