In order to pay for my entire lack of impulse control, I am selling my SB2 Tribute by G&L. It is in good shape. I picked it up on clearance from G&L earlier this year, and it arrived with the worst setup I've ever played, so I went through, set it up, and swapped out the neck plate for a black one just because. While setting it up I did notice the QC on the neck pocket wasn't perfect, but it has not presented an issue in terms of setup, sound, or playability. Close-ups show the other imperfections, the mark on the neck can't be felt, only seen.
34" scale, 1.5" nut. Strings are whatever rounds came on it. Truss rod and all electronics work as they should. I don't own a scale at all, but it weighs somewhere between my p and jazz, neither of which are all that heavy. Not really super heavy or light, my best guess is around 8.5-9 lbs, but that is a guess.
The bass plays well and sounds really quite good. I was surprised by the range of tone possible with just the two volume pots. And the MFD pickups are HOT!!!
Asking $300, shipping in the original packaging included. Would probably make a stupid deal for a local sale. You are welcome to try me with partial or full trades; I don't really need anything at this point, but I always like weird/interesting stuff.
