Hi Bass Friends!
Like a mermaid's irresistible lure, yet another GAS attack brings me back to these listing pages in the wee hours of the night to part ways with another quality item... Why am I so indecisive and why can't I just be happy??
Since now I know what it feels like to just have to have the right one of the thing that I love and to still be searching for it, I'll never make fun of my wife's persistent purse shopping again.
Just like I know she'll soon want to try yet another purse, she knows that I'll soon want to try yet another bass amp. Right now, she's into florals... Meanwhile, I'm into Eich or Aguilar or who knows what. So here I am, making another potential mistake by letting go of this nice-sounding and reliable Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II. I bought this amp from a wonderful and very reputable TBer a few months ago, and it has served me well at my Pocono gigs and others since then.
Note: I also bought the 3-space rack, but I kinda sorta need it, so it and the rack ears are not included as of this writing...
Just days ago, another awesome TBer drove up to connect with me and buy my LDS cabinet which I had to let go due to it being too big to fit into my band's infamous carpool vehicle's trunk. He happened to bring his Eich amp along. As we plugged our basses in and played a few notes on each, I felt that the Eich's tone was closer to the bass tone I hear in my mind when all else is quiet and I can't sleep.
As usual, if you're near Scranton, PA and would like to give it a listen, let me know and we can connect. Cash, Paypal F&F, and Venmo are all acceptable payment options.
We can figure out shipping if distance makes an enjoyable in-person transaction simply implausible!
As for trades, I'm wide open to possibilities, but an amp (and potentially Jazz pickup sets) will trigger enough of a Pavlovian dog-like response and I will be all ears... and saliva. Gross, I know... sorry for that visual!
