For sale Germany East Bass - Loud and Solid

Germany East Bass. Not a lot on the internet about these basses. I guess 60's or 70's Germany plywood student instrument. Built like a tank and really loud. 41 inch scale. E flat neck. Easy to play. I had this in my office to practice. Now that I don't have an office any more (Ccvid), I don't have room for it at home and am downsizing. Would make a good bluegrass or roots music bass, as it is projects with a nice bass fundamental natural good response, and some growl. I found it much louder, more solid, and preferable to an old Kay or Englehart. I played a few jazz gigs with it, but it is definitely not as nice as my carved bass. I used it for Acoustic Grateful Dead tribute gigs, and the Eflat neck made it easy to play that high F. It has a few chips on the bottom. Has a V shaped neck on the back. Thick fingerboard in good shape with no buzzes. Tuners work fine. If you want I can throw in a stand, cheap French or German bow, and entry level bag. In the shop currently to get the post adjusted and to get a look over before a sale, but should be out soon.

It would be a fun backup for unamplified jams or a main bass for roots music.

I prefer a sale, as I don't need anything, but would listen to trades for a mid-tier electric bass, class d head or combo (Acoustic Image, Aguliar), +/- cash as needed.
