For sale Gibson Short Scale Thunderbird Rare

I have been lusting after a short scale bird for years and, with the help of a good TB member finally tracked one down. It looks feels and sounds exactly had I had hoped but, I only use a bird for drop tuning music and for me, that requires a longer scale. So, Im letting this bird fly. I brought it to a luthier for a new nut, fret level and set up, and buffed the finish. The case is mint and the whole thing still smells like bubblegum. (Nitrocellulose) Ive got far more into aquiring and bringing this bird up to snuff than Im asking. There were 400 made in 2011 and its the fiest one I had a chance to aquire. A real rare bird.
