Hohner B2A (steinberger copy) PROJECT BASS

This sale includes the neck, body, genuine steinberger bridge, nut-thingy that holds the strings on, and double-end strings (which have lots of life left). I might be able to throw in a couple chrome knobs, but the pots and jack I have in the second picture dont fit.

    This bass requires pickups.

Basically, everything I said is included but nothing else is.

Its a neck-thru, not bolt on. The steinberger bridge is in very good condition. There is some scuffing around the pickups and a few dings/scratches, but nothing serious. I'd give the paint a 7/10.

Currently the action is pretty good and has a nice low tension feel. This bass is very light and would be great as a back-up or for travel or if you have a bad back etc.

I intended to do this project myself, but I just dont have the time.

These basses originally sold for $800

my price: $100 + shipping. I ship worldwide.

The only trade I would consider is for a Behringer Bass V-Amp.

    Thanks!

So what does the bass NEED? Just electronics?

yeah, electronics and control cover, battery cover. I could possibly even make those out of some black pg material I have. Or include the pickguard material so the new owner can have at it.

These basses are constructed very well, if anyone is good with things like this, pick it up and put some nice EMGs or something inthere. THe stock pickups are EMG selects but USA EMGs would be even better. Or if you can, get some Barts taht fit in there.

Hey Veganbass, do you work at a place called Kurlan's Music in Worcester, MA? I was just in there today talking to one of the employees who said that they had a Hohner-copy steiny, and was lookin' to get rid of it for $100. Was that you?

Okay, i still have this thing. I really want to sell it. A few things have changed. My one year old got a hold of it and was playing with it on the laminate floor. Result: some scratches on the back. The front/face of the bass is still the same as before 7/10.

Also, none of the knobs in the picture are included. I had to take them off and put them on another bass that I sold.

Hence, the NEW PRICE IS $80 + shipping.

I will also consider trades... especially for a graphic eq pedal or tuner pedal.

Let me know what you have!
