For sale Hurley pre amp and pickups

This is a Hurley preamp with a Hurley wing piezo pickup and a 'Vic's Pickups' Model A clicky pickup for under the fingerboard. These two pickups are mono and the two inputs on the Hurley pre are mono in. There is one input for the fingerboard and one input for the wing and a separate volume and tone control for each one The pickup has a single pole switch in the front cover. I previously used double sided velcro strips that it attached the preamp to the bass top just below the bridge. Stuck it right onto the bass front body. You see in the picture two six inch right angle patch cords that allowed me to plug each pickup into the preamp. The two pickup inputs would then be ty-wrapped The 'on' light was a little bright for me so I used a little nail polish to dim it. I also used used some small velcro discs on the back of the pre to attach it to the top of my amp head. Then in that case I used two 6 FOOT long instrument cables to go from the pickups to the pre. I'd just use one of the 6 INCH patch cables to the input of the amp from the pre. Finally you'll see in the back of the photo a piece of foam with velcro discs. I attached the foam over the top of the pre amp when I put it in a bag to travel with. This way the switch wouldn't turn on and kill the battery.

Everything functions 100%. This is a great little preamp for a fraction of what a good upright preamp would cost for this system of clicky and wing into one pre. Used it for Rockabilly, bluegrass and county/western gigs.
