This is one bass where Ibanez got it right. The neck profile is like a standard jazz a opposed to the standard thin Ibanez neck. The pickup is placed in the 'sweet spot' vs the closer to the bridge. This gives it a lot more punch and low end from the humbucker. This is a great bass for the beginner or working musician.
