I'm selling this old 3-stringer, as is. I've heard many different things about the history of this instrument, although most people lean towards it being Northern Italy or Southern Austria...Possibly German. Age is guess to be somewhere from 1780-1840.

It has always been a 3-stringer and has the original tuning pegs.

The bass bar is carved into the top of the bass.

Overstand: about 1/4" (?)
Approx. String Length: 33-34"
Fingerboard Length: 28.25"
Neck: approx. 12"
Upper Bout: approx. 13"
C Bout: approx. 9"
Lower Bout: approx. 15"
Depth: 7.25" at the upper & c-bout, 7.5" at the lower bout

Asking price: $1,000.00 obo.

I am in Chicago- and willing to drive regionally.

I tried to send a pm but it blocked it, maybe your inbox is full? Any interest in trading for a nice vintage Gibson G3? I'll be in chicago in August.
