Light weight pauwlonia body made by JV Guitars. The guy had very little idea what he was doing and I ended up with a body I didn't like. I built it out anyway but couldn't fall in love so selling it off. Long scale, fits Fender necks (had a Warmoth in there also for sale).
$150 local or $200 CONUS. Trades just try me.
Has some quirks....
- relic job was not done well IMHO
- has a finish flaw on lower bout as pictured
- JV Guitars drilled bridge holes about 1/4" too short. My luthier fixed it.
- strap buttons were glued in with toothpicks because he drilled the holes too big. They're very stable now
- the bridge pickup was routed slightly offset so it doesn't line up with the strings. Did not affect sound just look
But the body is solid, a cool blood red color, and the entire bass was 6.5lbs built out. Including a very cheap bridge, strap buttons, and pickup foam.
