For your consideration, I bought a used Jazz V bass from an unknown seller given the specs. Turns out that while the body and neck are nice, they were mismatched, some parts were low quality, and the bass was hardly playable. This listing is for the body and electronics of that bass.
The paint is a custom metallic sparkle. I believe the paint is a dark blue and the flakes are purple and blue. In any case, it looks dark blue-ish purple from a distance and purple when the light hits it. It's quite good looking in person. I did my best to show that off in the photos with my phone. There are two dings in an otherwise well done custom job. One in on the front edge at the apex where the forearm contour is and the other is on the bottom back edge and is the lesser of the two. There are some minor wear scuffs and swirls on the body. See photos for details.
I tried to get details about the body, but the best I can figure is that the body is a Mexican Fender or Squier. It feels somewhat thinner than a standard bass body, but I'm honestly not super familiar with J-style bodies. The biggest issue with the fit of the body and neck was what the neck pocket has a very flat carve on the bridge side. I included a picture to show the gap it creates in the USA neck.
As for electronics, there's no markings on the back of the pickups, so I'm not sure where they are from. They sounded fine when the bass was together though. Controls are active with 4 knobs. I'm assuming it's a standard configuration, though I didn't play with the bass enough to remember. Bridge and control plate are chrome. Comes with back plate and screws if you want them.
