Excellent condition "JC10" preamp pedal built by John Kallas. In addition to a 3-band EQ, it has low/high gain channels ("classic" and "rock"), and a built-in speaker simulator. The real magic, though, is in the drive control: this is some of the best saturation and distortion you'll find in a bass pedal. Nice breakup on the low gain channel and just massive distortion on the high gain channel. This is his pedalboard-friendly version of the Award Session/Morley JD10, originally billed as a 50s/60s combo style amp emulator for recording...though it's not "vintage" sounding on bass; it has a ton of sparkle and hi-fi tones without the sim engaged.
