For sale John East STMP-01

I’m selling my outboard John East STMP-01 preamp pedal. The asking price is $125 shipped but the price is somewhat negotiable. As for trades, I’m mostly after a Radial Tonebone Bassbone V2, but I’m interested in other preamps that will primarily work with upright bass (most of my electric basses are active...most have the East preamps onboard so this is redundant).

This is one of the early ones with the input on the left and output on the right. The unit was repaired by John a few years ago, the mid pots were not working at the time but they work now.

There are two minor issues:

1) The Ground / Lift switch for the DI is broken...the switch shown in the pic. I’m sure it can be fixed but I don’t know how to open the unit to do the repair. This has no effect on the 1/4” instrument out, only the DI.

2) The power supply doesn’t seem to be working. The unit can be powered by a 9V battery and this still seems to work fine. I’m not sure where to get a replacement power supply. I’m sure John East can help if needed.

Again, the price is negotiable and the unit still works as an outboard preamp so make me an offer if you’re interested.
