Keyboard might seem like a strange listing on a bass forum, but I truly believe music and musicianship require access to a keyboard for fooling around with melody and harmony and learning theory if not to play actual songs.

This keyboard came with a piano computer learning system from the ‘90s, but it is fine as a stand-alone basic instrument. It is easily transportable and has built-in stereo speakers, but does require A/C power. The keys have no piano-feel (but are velocity sensitive—harder hit makes louder sound). It has 128 voices and MIDI capability but I never used anything but the obvious piano, electric piano, organ, vibes, synth, and harpsichord sounds.

I do not expect you would gig with this keyboard although maybe you could; for my purpose, it was on a table in my music room and I referred to it when figuring out chord voicings or visualizing new scales or messing with song ideas.

The keys and function buttons work perfectly and there is no visible flaw to the keyboard. Price includes shipping in US and Paypal fees.

Important Note: the following software, media and cable are OBSOLETE with current Apple computers. I cannot verify that the data is intact on the diskettes, although I have no reason to believe it is not. The following are included for completeness, and if you do have an ancient Macintosh, perhaps you can actually use the Miracle Teaching System which was pretty cool in its day.

Miracle Piano Teaching System for Macintosh (System 7?, 3.5” floppy disks)
- System software disks 1-5
- Song Collection disks 1 & 2
- User manual
- Cable keyboard-to-Mac serial connector
