My old bass! Way back... but had aero pups and was passive until I added a bart pre. I remember that ramp was glued on or something. Neck was too much for me but loved the shape and balance, tone. Traded it for a nash precision.
    Glwts! Great bass!

My old bass too, and an all time favorite. Kinal really knows how to make basses.

Mike is the best...I just had dinner with him last night after picking up my new Kompact. He is underrated as a luthier but one of the best in the business. Highly recommended!

  5. Mike is a great guy. He didn't raise the price too much, trying to make great instruments at affordable prices for "musicians". His workmanship is exceptional.

  6. I have 2 Kinal and love them both. Great craftsmanship and worth every penny at twice the price.

    none.
Gotta weigh in on the love-fest...

I had a bunch of basses that I thought were all good for certain gigs in their own specific ways: a couple Jbasses, a Stingray, an old Peavey...

Bought my Kinal and sold all the others. Kinal basses are very versatile instruments!

Would consider the right 4 string Jazz or PBass
