Hi Bass Friends, I currently have a variety of 4-string sets of bass strings for sale, including two 4-string sets of La Bella Hard Rockin' Steels. I boughts these stainless steel long scale round wound strings as singles in order to create the interesting gauge range 50-70-90-98 because I find relative closeness in gauges to be awesome, especially live. However, I keep forgetting that I only use nickel-plated steel strings! 
$20 - One of these La Bella HRS 4-string bass string sets is brand new and uncut.
$18 - The second La Bella HRS set has a new, uncut E string while the other three strings are cut to standard Fender Jazz Bass length. I was stringing up my Jazz Bass with the G, D, and A strings and I got so excited about it that I decided to try them along with the bass's existing E string... call it premature articulation. Taking the innuendo further, my mood went from "Oh Yeah" to "Oh No!" in less than one minute, remembering that I only love nickel-plated strings... so I took them off and the HRS E string never made it onto the bass! My wife quipped, "Wow, that was quick!" which also reminded me of our early days together in the car...
*** I have an additional brand new uncut HRS .83 A string which I'll include for free if you buy both HRS sets.

$18 - 1 basically brand new nps long scale 4-string set of Picato 45-105 strings which have been cut to standard Jazz bass length (strung through the bridge) and played for about 3 minutes, then removed.
$20 - Picato brand new stainless steel long scale 4-string set 40-100
$15 - Picato basically new nps long scale 4-string set 45-105
$50 - Firewire Bass Strings Round Wound Nickel-Alloy 4-string set 45-65-85-105
These are new old stock Firewire bass strings which I was excited to try around 20 years ago, but never did. This string company seems to have disappeared long ago. It's a cool little piece of bass string history which I have priced as a collector's item.
