Recently acquired this stunner here on TB: SOLD - Lakland 55-94 Deluxe Buckeye Burl. It was kind of a bass bucket list item, and, by god, it delivered. Plays effortlessly (low action and I barely notice the 35” scale), sounds amazing (love the mids set at 250hz), and looks gorgeous.
So why trade it? I have my 2 main players, and the 3rd slot is where I rotate things through. It’s an amazing, pro-level instrument, and now I know what the fuss is about. But it really is more bass than I’m comfortable owning. Call it insecurity, call it pragmatism…probably both right, to an extent.
Anywhat, condition is excellent. There is a bit of a color difference between the neck and the headstock, with the headstock being slightly darker. I’m guessing this is due to simple play wear on the neck (which feels sublime, BTW!). It’s subtle, but I’ve included a photo in bright light to show the full effect. Otherwise, no cosmetic issues to speak of.

Includes chrome Straploks (both ends), hex wrenches, and is sporting a new set of DR Pure Blues. The stainless steel strings it came with are included as well, but not sure of brand or age.
