I bought this Lakland USA Classic 44-64 at Music Go Round earlier this year. Just
one of those things where you pick it up and can't put it back down so let's trade
in a buncha stuff
The neck feels amazing and sets up nice and low. But please
see the details on this model from Lakland:
Lakland Classic Series 44-64 - Lakland Bass Guitars - Best In Basses
Also some good info here:
Lakland Classic 44-64 Rosewood Fretboard Electric Bass Guitar
Fretboard
It's a full 1 3/4" neck but is quite thin front-to-back, which really reminded me of
my long-gone '65 L-plate Precision and/or an early Fullerton '62 RI which had
similar specs. So it's a great neck with smooth satin finish, but please be sure;
this ain't no Jazz neck
The bass is in overall nice condition but please note I bought this as a used bass
and it has been played....a few light clunks on the back and various swirlies and
scratches here and there, but no big dents or dings to report, and nothing I
could get to photograph. I wasn't a fan of the original parchment pickguard
against the two-tone 'burst so I had Chandler make me a single-ply matte black.
Original guard included. Fret markers are just stickers, easily removed if you prefer.
Original HSC shows wear but remains functional. Bass weighed 8 lbs, 12 oz on
my postal scale when I bought it.
$2000 shipped to the lower 48. Paypal F+F preferred (see my feedback). I'm
really looking to sell but would consider trades for short-scale bass + cash so
please PM me with offers.
