I stuck the cheat sheets on with packing tape -- they can easily be taken off. I have these sheets saved as files and can e-mail them to you if needed.
I also have a PDF of the instruction manual I can send you.
This unit has never been out of my smoke-free home since I picked it up. It's been in storage in a Rubbermaid bin for the past 4-5 years.
