Maple fretted neck purchased on eBay. You know the ones. This one arrived and I could not abide the “vintage” tint. More of a mustard yellow. Anyway I carefully defretted it and sanded the tint away. Frets were filled and fretboard and headstock finished with wipe on poly. Back of neck is unfinished but waxed with gun stock wax (like EBMM necks). Fits Fender neck pocket pretty well (it was mated nicely to the Squier body I have for sale). Sits a little prouder in the neck pocket than a Fender but was easily adjusted with bridge. 1 1/2” width at the nut. The nut btw, was a quickie job and should be considered in need of replacement. Tuners are knockoffs but operate pretty smoothly and stay in tune. Hope someone can rescue this and use it. When I had it put together, it definitely had a nice whah.
