For your consideration is the venerable Mesa WD-800 hybrid amplifier. I love everything about the cleans, grit, powerful tone shaping, and subtle but evocative damping control. Overly dramatic? Maybe, but this amplifier delivers a wallop despite its featherweight design. The only reason I’m selling is to stick with a pedalboard setup based around the D800+ DI.
