Up for sale is my MTD 435. I purchased this wonderful instrument about 5 years ago and have only played a few gigs with it. This beauty has spent most of its life in a closet. It is now time for this great bass to see the light of day and find a good home.
I had planned to keep this bass for many years, but circumstances have changed. I need to thin the herd and since I don't play this bass very often, some lucky person is going to be the new owner.
It has the classic MTD sound and feel to it. It is VERY comfortable to play weighing in at just 7.9 lbs.!
The body is poplar with a maple burl top.
The neck is wenge with a wenge fingerboard.
It does show signs of light wear. Look closely at the pictures.
It comes with the original hard shell case. Again, it has some nicks and signs of light wear.

A new bass like this one would retail for around $6,000 - and you'd have to wait 6 to 8 months to get it.
I will only ship to the lower 48 states.
