The "tone". Well, the ultimate musicman tone. Punchy, ballsy, warm, the best. And then add the cobalt strings and look out.

Thanks, I sold the two that I owned. Great basses but not the classic MM sound that this one has.

I completely understand. I love the Bongo, but I prefer the Stingray or Sterling. Thanks.

I agree, bongos are great. I love the neck, shape and low end. I could almost dial in a stingray tone but the sterling pickups got it.
