Up for sale is my MusicMan StingRay Special 5H, which I purchased brand new last year. I bought the bass from Sweetwater, and paid $200 extra to have them PLEK the fretboard. The fretwork is now flawless, and the neck feels and plays amazing. It can take really low action without buzzing.
This bass is in 9.99/10 condition. There are no paint chips or noticeable dings anywhere; only a few barely-visible scuffs on the pickguard. I really like this bass, but I recently bought a 5-string Sadowsky NYC bass, to be my main 5-string.
The body is black, with a roasted maple neck and fretboard. The bass weighs 8 lbs, 14 oz. I’ve read some people complaining about poor fretwork on their StingRay Special, but having had this one PLEK’d, the fretwork on this bass is perfect! Original hard case and truss rod tool also included, as well as Dunlop strap locks.
$1,700, including shipping anywhere in the CONUS.
