I bought one of the 27, and I think the pickup placement gives it a great tone, a little more aggressive and it looks” rad” the neck is the biggest of all 4 rics I own. Kinda D as opposed to C shape. I love it!!
After reading through the original thread and seeing the bass now, I'm a little confused. So it was actually damaged? Does the bass listed here have the original case?
I sort of know this bass. It was originally purchased from sweetwater. I know because I emailed them asking if they had any of these 4003 CB SPC models when they were first released. They told me there is 1 left and I can have it if I want. They sent pictures. The price was just too much for what I was looking to spend on a bass at the time so I released my hold on it. Shame I didnt buy it and save this bass from it's story.
