I am letting go my Nordstrand custom 4 string. It has the famous "Adrian Garcia" shape. It is MINT. It has:
northern ash body
INSANE amboyna burl top..breathtaking!!
3 piece flamed quartersawn maple neck
Jazz bass neck specs
busy birdseye maple board
white pearl block inlays!!
Big Single pickups
chrome hipshot hardware
Aguilar 3 band pre
nice gig bag
This bass is special because:
1) It is a one off...Carey won't do any more of these now that Adrian is gone..one of a kind body style
2) It's a custom, not a Nordy...not many of these around.
3) It's 100% MINT.
4) It looks INSANE in person...check out the pics!
5) It sounds incredible!!!!
I am asking 2800$, YES, EVEN IN THIS ECONOMY. If it doesn't sell, I don't care. Please don't send low-ball offers. This bass is rare, and would be incredibly expensive to reproduce, even if Carey would build you one, which he won't. I am not really looking to trade, unless it's something equally cool, like a Fodera, Ken Smith, Sadowsky NYC or F bass 4 string, a Ken Lawrence 4 string, etc. Not looking for 5s at all. If you have a Fodera, let's talk. Other than that, it's 28 Benjamins.
