The SB, (Sekou Bunch) model has just been discontinued and a JB clone in its place. That makes this bass all-the-more desireable, especially with the Minty condition. Price adjusted.

I have one of these. My favorite bass along side my G&L. If you need a good 5 string bass, you're looking at it right here. Don't be afraid to pay this price for a Carvin. It's more than worth it.

Would you be interested in a couple month old Ibanez BTB premium 1405. I have 2 of them a couple months old and they are the best bass I've ever played. This bass is loaded with Nordstrand electronics.

Wow. I cannot believe Carvin has discontinued this model. I have several Carvins and numerous high end basses and the Carvins are the most underrated basses I have ever owned. My SB5001 absolutely rocks. I imagine the price on these will increase a bit in the second hand market over time since they are going to become harder to get. Hopefully the new owner takes as good of care of her as you have because she is stunning to look at right now.

GLWTS!

Thanks for the kind words Neuroman. I think the new owner will love this bass and take great care of it bass as the two previous owners did. It seems to me that only the guys willing to take a leap get the rewards. Carvin is a leap-type of bass, as is the one I'm trading for. You can't play a new one anywhere unless a friend has one, like in my case, and now I'm sold on these brands for life. (Fender/MM... who, what? Why?) :smug:
For everyone who owns an SB, I really hope the prices soar. They're worth a better resale value for sure. I've had 2 Carvins, both SB's, one a 4 and this 5er. Both have had the BEST jazz tone i've ever heard!
