Hi, I am selling my treasured upright bass.
It's a "Laurel" German, 1938 imported by Wm. Lewis of Chicago many years ago.
It is plywood back and front, with solid wood sides.
The set up is professionally done by KC String, best in the midwest.
Is a beautiful bass, has a few old repairs and dings, but great condition for age, and all repairs are very solid and done a long time before I bought it.
Has great straight, ebony fingerboard, beautiful tone, and LOUD, like only an old seasoned solid bass can be.
I saw one exactly like it on Elderly from 3-4 years ago that sold for 3,800.
I am asking 2500 cause I need to sell.
Includes~
High quality adjustable bridge
High quality end pin
Helicore strings, and an extra set that have been played very lightly.
Bag, fits a full size, but works for this one.
Heavy suty stand
Bow quiver
"Realist Pickup"
I am asking 2500 cause I need to sell.
email me here with questions. I live in the midwest.
Thanks! Tedi May
