KILLING me to do this, but I just have a preference for the tone of maple fingerboards and jazz basses.
AMAZING Skjold Skjoldslayer 5, with extraordinary set up, response, tone, and feel! This thing is like driving a Porche! No dings, scratches or bonks! Pete Skjold is a masterful builder; on par with the best names listed on this forum. The ONLY reason I am entertaining selling/trading is for a 24-fret maple board 5-string. I will not shed a tear if it doesn't move out.
