Quilter Tone Block 201 “NOS”
Now $350!!!
Update for those who may be wondering how this unit performs as a bass amp: I had the opportunity to test it in a rehearsal situation, here are my observations:
The sound and feel are indeed very "Tube-y'. In particular the "Full Q" setting provides a solid and legit bass tone. Great under the fingers! Other voice settings also yielded very usable and interesting results.
The thing has some balls. Pushed my elf 2x8 at full band rehearsal levels without breaking a sweat. Would be fantastic running a pair. Evidently there's an extra 200 watts on tap to facilitate tube amp like "overshoot" (though I haven't been able to corroborate this).
Perfect platform for preamp pedals. Hitting the effects return with Darkglass Microbes Classic took things to another level - simply glorious!
Fantastic warm tube-like tones and feel - great for bass, guitar or keyboards.
Paypal only, thanks.
The Tone Block 201 takes pedal board amp design to the next level - 200W output into 4-8 ohms, with additional voicing and interconnect features for increased flexibility. "Junior" in size, "Senior" in capability. The "danger" stripes are there for a reason!
The Quilter Tone Block 201 features our highly musical “Tri-Q” tone control, five analog amp voicings, and Hi-Cut to control overdrive harmonics. It’s powerful enough to take on even the biggest heavyweight amps, but light enough and small enough to cozy up to your favorite pedals and provide the “finishing touch” to any good speaker. And of course, it docks with our growing line of BlockDock modular speakers.
