For sale is a circa-2003 Fender Precision Junior made in Mexico with black finish, black pickguard, and rosewood fingerboard. This is not a toy or cheap knockoff, this is a real Fender Precision, just 10% smaller. Pickup and bridge are the same as a full-sized Fender Precision. These were only made from 2003-2005. Scale length is 28.59”. I bought this bass in 2018 on Reverb to have a small bass next to my desk in my home office. It’s never been out of the house, but it was played before I owned it, it has a number of scratches and dings, but no fingerboard wear. Everything works and it appears to be all original except for the lightweight Hipshot tuners.

Weight on my kitchen scale is a super lightweight 6 pounds 9 ounces. Nut width is 1 1/2". Serial number MZ3050205. It has an alder body and maple C-shaped neck with 9.5” radius. It plays and sounds great. There’s some scratches on the pickguard, and a small nick on the back of the body, the neck is pristine in the playing area. There wasn’t a case with it when I bought it, I’ll ship it in a Mikro guitar gig bag that I bought by accident, it doesn’t fit but it will protect the bass during shipping. The bass version of this bag would likely be a perfect fit. Bass ships strung with relatively new D’Addario XL Chrome flat wounds.

PayPal is fine, contact me for other payment methods. Free delivery anywhere in the Houston area. Will ship to continental US FREE or to Alaska/Hawaii for actual shipping. No International shipping due to CITES restrictions, sorry.

I recently found a MIJ Jazz version of this same bass (for more than twice this bass’ asking price) and this one isn’t needed anymore. I’ve been asked to reduce my stable to a “normal” number of basses, so no trades, sorry.
