***Very Rare limited edition Ibanez MC30th Musician Bass Circa. 2009- OHSC***

An extremely hard to come by limited edition re-issue of the famous "Musician' Bass by Ibanez- this particular example is the 9th of only 15 of these special basses made worldwide.
Featuring a Swamp Ash body, 5 piece Maple/ Walnut Neck, Ebony fingerboard and exquisite Mother of Pearl inlays- this MC30th was made by a team of Ibanez's most skilled craftsmen to exacting standards.
Each of the 15 were made with slight variations in construction, which make these pieces unique and truly individual.
Cosmetically, this MC30th is in fine overall condition, having received a matte re-sprayed finish in recent years. There are no significant imperfections visible in the finish, except for a few occasional light surface marks from careful use over the years.
The metal-ware shows little signs of tarnishing, and the genuine Mother of Pearl fingerboard inlays are highly intricate in design, and exhibit a beautiful spectrum of color when viewed from different perspectives.
Functionally, all hardware is completely Ibanez original, and fully functional. The superb quality Gotoh tuners provide smooth and fine tuning adjustments, and excellent stability. The frets have been recently re-dressed to remove height variations, and are polished to a very smooth surface. Overall, they display approx. 85% life after the re-dressing procedure.
Currently the action is setup reasonably low, with heights of 1.9mm for top G- and 2.2mm for low E at the 12 fret.
A professional setup is recommended to optimize the performance of the bass- and to suit the individual players preferences.
The neck is straight and the truss rod moves freely, with fine adjustments being easily made.
All electronics are original and full operational, there is however some slight scratchiness on the Bass boost/ Cut knob presently, however all other tone/ volume/ boosts/cut knobs work noiselessly.
Tonally the bass is highly refined, focused and affords the player a wide palette of timbral contrast.
Comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity, and the original heavy-duty flight case which offers excellent protection to the instrument in transit.
